November 28, 2022 , Date Fruits, healthy food
Getting the right amount of nutrients and balancing your diet is very important for your baby’s steady growth and development. So, once your baby gets older, you should supplement his diet with foods like dates that meet his essential nutritional needs. Babies can start eating dates at around 6 months of age or after they start eating solid or semi-solid food.
Dates should be started in small portions to check how the baby reacts to this new food.
Use steamed Kedai Kurma and do not use dehydrated dates so that the child can chew easily. You can puree or crush dates for ease of consumption.
Dates are rich in many nutrients and are one of the best foods that mankind has discovered. They relieve us from all kinds of digestive problems and are an instant energizer, which is why it is recommended to consume them in the morning.
The digestive system of children and babies is fragile and sudden consumption of new foods should be avoided. Babies cannot be expected to chew hard dates early. To avoid choking hazard, give steamed or crushed dates in small pieces to children.
Give only sweet ripe dates to children. Unripe dates are not recommended for children because they contain tannins that may cause stomach upset. When you start solid food for your baby, do not give your baby dates right away. Before starting or increasing the amount, introduce it to the child’s food in small portions and see how the child enjoys it.
To start feeding dates to children, choose the seedless variety. Watch out for any allergies in the first 24 hours after starting to feed dates to children. Consult your pediatrician before starting to feed dates to children.
